Data protection policy

Drone Industry Insights UG, its subsidiaries, and partner companies (hereinafter referred to jointly and singly as “DII”) consider the protection of your personal data and your right of informational self-determination to be of great importance. DII will collect, process, and use the personal data it collects during your visit to its website and integrated online store (hereinafter referred to jointly and individually as the “Website”). In doing so, it will comply with the principles described below as well as with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz).

1. Definition of personal data

  • Views and opinions: Any views and opinions that you choose to send to us, or publicly post about us on social media platforms.

DII collects information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, or enter information on our site. In detail, DII may collect or receive:

9. Cookies and similar technologies like Google Analytics

The DII Website also uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your hard drive. We use the information in the cookies to make your online visit more pleasant and personal, for example, to manage your virtual shopping cart. In addition, we use cookies to save your individual settings, such as your language selection, so you do not have to change them each time you go online. We save the following data in encrypted form in the cookies we use: an anonymous ID for your computer and the settings that you have made at our Website.

Google Analytics:

DII’s websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc.

Google Analytics also uses cookies stored on the user’s computer to analyze the user’s website use. The information generated by the cookie about the user’s use of the website (including the user’s IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on a server that DII uses to improve its websites and services. Newsletter: For sending newsletters, DII uses specialized service providers to which it will pass the necessary personal data. These service providers will use your personal data only on behalf of DII and in accordance with its instructions. Compliance with these data protection provisions is ensured, as are the necessary security measures.

You can always unsubscribe from the e-mail distribution list created for such actions. After unsubscribing, we will not send you any more promotional emails, but you may continue to contact us to request other services.
